Aidentified, Inc. (successor in interest to Aidentified, LLC) (“Aidentified”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) cares about privacy and we want you to be familiar with how we collect, use, process, and disclose your personal information. Personal information is defined as any identifiable information about an individual. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes our privacy practices with respect to information we collect through our website, mobile application, or any other service or offerings which may reference this Privacy Policy. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using or accessing our website or mobile application in any manner, you consent to the practices and policies outlined herein. Your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms and Conditions, and with respect to the Mobile Application the terms of our third-party providers. Customers who download, access, and/ or use our Mobile Application by way of Apple’s iOS operating system or a Google device are subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third-party providers. Please read all of the above mentioned terms in conjunction with this Privacy Policy.

Aidentified only collects, stores and uses U.S. information. See the relevant links for U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws in Section 8.1. If you are a resident of California you can also click here to find out more about your rights according to the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”).

1. WHAT WE DO

Aidentified provides: (1) subscription-based data services which include, but are not limited to, our super-targeted prospecting and relationship mapping tools that can be accessed through our website and mobile application (“Web Application”), (2) a website(s) that may be accessed at https://www.aidentified.com/ (“Site”), (3) a software application that may be downloaded to your smartphone to access services (“Mobile Application”), and (4) other data services which may or may not be accessible through the Web Application and Mobile Application (“Data Services”). The term “Services” means the Site, Web Application, Mobile Application, and Data Services provided by Aidentified.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect four categories of personal information – personal information you knowingly provide to us on our Site; personal information that is automatically collected from you while using our Services; personal information that is publicly available or is provided to us by third parties with proper consents and permissioning; and personal information you knowingly provide us once you have purchased our Service, to help enrich your data and/ or create additional relationship mapping profile connections. We also collect information extracted from news articles that are published in the public domain, such as on publisher/corporate websites. We follow RSS links, load the content into RSS reader modules, and identify news articles about a person or a company associated with that person that are published at the RSS links. We publish the news event and links to the actual articles within our application.

Aidentified does not collect sensitive personal information such as social security numbers, bank account information, credit card/debit card numbers, medical/ health/health insurance information, biometric information or physical characteristics, or other attributes that are considered sensitive personal information. The only exception to this is that when you purchase our Services with a credit card, you will need to provide credit card information, which is collected via our secure third-party credit card platform. Aidentified does not store credit card information.

2.1. Personal information visitors and customers knowingly provide us on our Site:

Account data. Customers are required to register for a user account through the Site, before using our Services. You will only be able to access the Mobile Application once you have registered for an account. When you register for a user account, we collect certain personal information to create the account, such as your name, phone number, email address, password (anonymized and encrypted), company name, job title and professional industry. The Mobile Application does not collect the aforementioned information since you provided it during the account registration process on our Site. Aidentified will not sell, rent, or lease your personal “account” information to third parties.

Communications. When visitors or customers communicate with us via email, we may collect information about the communication and any information they choose to provide during the correspondence.

Payment data. Customers who purchase our online Services, are required to provide us with their credit card information. We will use that information solely for the purpose of fulfilling your purchase request. We, or our third-party payment services providers, will always store credit card information in an encrypted form and will not sell, share, or use it again without your prior consent.

2.2. Personal information that is automatically collected:

Aidentified, by itself or through third parties, may automatically collect usage data in the course of a visit to the Site, the Web Application or the Mobile Application. We use the following information to assess our Site, Web Application and Mobile Application’s performance and evaluate user experience enhancements. When customers access our Site, we may collect the IP address and domain used to access the website, the type and version of browser used, the website they came from to our Site, entry and exit pages, website pages within aidentified.com viewed by that IP address, and what country the visitor is from. The data we collect from our customers on the Mobile Application is limited to usage data. This includes timestamps of when a user logs into the Mobile Application, screens and pages they visit on the Mobile Application, and diagnostic metrics.

2.3. Personal information that is publicly available or is provided to us by third parties:

Aidentified, by itself or through third parties, collects personal information that is displayed in its data services. Aidentified collects a blend of professional and consumer information to create data services that are powered by AI-driven technology and machine learning for sales prospecting and relationship mapping purposes. The data we collect is either publicly available or, if consent is required to collect it, is provided to us with the appropriate permissioning.

These are the main categories of personal information that Aidentified collects:

  • Professional and household contact information (including name, address, email and phone numbers, and employer company name, company address, title, work email and work phone, social URLs)
  • Educational information (where you went to school)
  • Employment history
  • Commercial information (e.g., products or services purchased, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies)
  • Information on events or transactions about a person or a company associated with that person (e.g., M&A activities, IPOs, financing events)
  • Website and online data relating to IP addresses, and geolocation data inferred from IP addresses or postal addresses
  • Information about a person or a company associated with that person from publicly available news articles from RSS news feeds

2.4. Personal information you knowingly provide us once you purchase our Services:

Customers may upload their customer relationship management (“CRM”) information, contact information, or LinkedIn connections to the Web and/ or Mobile Application. Aidentified does not incorporate this information into its database but will use this information while you are a customer to provide you with relationship mapping profile connections. Any data you import to the Web or Mobile Application may be deleted at any time and that data is not added to the Aidentified database, nor stored by Aidentified when you end your customer relationship with us.

Customers can import contact information from Google, iCloud, Outlook and Zillow and/ or upload CSV extracts from LinkedIn and CRM platforms to the Web Application. The main categories of personal information you can upload to the Web Application are as follows:

  • Contact information (email, phone number and physical address)
  • School name
  • Job title
  • Company name
  • Company address
  • Social media URLs (LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook).

Customers can only import contact information from Google/Android, iCloud, Outlook, and Zillow to the Mobile Application. You cannot upload CSV extracts from CRM platforms and/ or LinkedIn connections to the Mobile Application. The main categories of personal information you can upload to the Mobile Application are as follows:

  • Contact information (name, email, company name, title, phone number and physical address).

3. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The personal information we collect for our Web and Mobile Application is used to provide customers with rich information for their prospecting and marketing purposes and also shows how professional and consumer profiles are connected to other profiles and relationships. We use both AI-driven technology and machine learning to curate our data for sales and marketing prospecting purposes and to provide relationship mapping intelligence regarding the many profiles we have in our database. We may use various sources of personal information to create inferences that could reflect, for example, a wealth segment or other relevant characteristic to give our customers additional insights into a profile included in our Services. We always make sure to flag inferences made in our Services to our customers as inferred data.

We may share or sell personal information from the database that feeds our Web and Mobile Application with or to our business partners for commercial purposes.

We collect, use, process, and disclose your personal information to provide and improve our Services; for research and development; and to comply with law.

3.1. To improve and provide our Services, including to:

  • Provide and operate our Services
  • Maintain and manage user accounts
  • Improve the quality of our Services
  • Provide customer support, which includes responding to your inquiries and requests, providing you with updates regarding our Services and notifying you about technical and security announcements
  • Process customers payments
  • Personalize and customize your user experience.

3.2. For research and development:

We may use personal information to better understand our users in general, improve the content and functionality of our Applications and Services, and develop new products and services. We use a third party to help us collect and analyze aggregated, de-identified, or other anonymous user information from our Web and Mobile Application to understand statistics and analyze usage.

3.3. To comply with law:

We use your personal information as we believe necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal processes, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities.

3.4. For marketing and advertising:

We may send you Aidentified-related marketing communications to tell you about our services, promotions, prospecting, marketing, and other opportunities that may be of interest to you. You will have the ability to opt-out of our marketing and promotional communications as described in the section 7 below.

3.5. With your consent:

In some cases, we may specifically ask for your consent to process your personal information. We may also use your personal information as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy or as disclosed to you at the time of collection.

4. CUSTOMER USE OF INTEGRATIONS

You may have access to one of Aidentified’s plug-in browser integrations. In using such integrations, such as the Aidentified Google Plug-in, you are agreeing to install a web browser extension and information from your website browsing results may be transmitted to Aidentified for purposes of matching your data against Aidentified’s database and giving you real-time information about people as you use the internet. Aidentified may retain and store such information for purposes of identifying potential contacts, verifying accuracy of the information and improving its research processes.  Any information received in this way will not be attributable to the source.

5. COOKIES

Aidentified may put a “cookie” on the hard drive of a visitor’s computer to make a record of his or her visit. A cookie allows us to better understand how you use our website so that we can adjust and improve its ability to meet your needs. A cookie does not collect any information that is not otherwise provided to us or a third-party service. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. 6. DATA COLLECTION BY THIRD PARTIES

Our business partners, tracking utility company and/or service providers may use session ID cookies on your browser. We do not have access or control over these types of cookies. These companies may use information about your visits to our Site, Web Application or Mobile Application to direct advertisements to you about goods and services that may be of interest to you. To opt out of these type of cookies, you will need to opt out from the third party directly. Customers who access our Services via the Mobile Application on Apple’s iOS operating system or a Google device, should review those third-party terms, to better understand what information they are collecting. Customers may visit either the NAI website or the Digital Advertising Alliance WebChoices Browser Check to exercise your option to opt-out of interest-based advertising.

7. GOOGLE ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics on our Site for website analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies or other tracking technologies to help us analyze how users interact with and use our website and provide other services related to website activity and usage. The technologies used by Google may collect information such as your IP address, time of visit, whether you are a return visitor, and any referring website. Our Site does not use Google Analytics to gather information that personally identifies you. Google Analytics generates deidentified analytical information that will be transmitted to and stored by Google and will be subject to Google’s privacy policies. 8. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING PERSONAL INFORMATION

You have choices with respect to your personal information. You may inquire whether Aidentified has collected your information and/or included your personal information in its database for its business purposes and you may verify its accuracy or ask for it to be updated or corrected. You may also ask to opt out of the use of your personal information or any inferences created from your personal information in our data services.

Opting Out of Email Marketing

If you no longer want to receive Aidentified promotional emails, newsletters, and updates about new features, products and services, please contact Aidentified at unsubscribe@aidentified.com.

Please note, we may continue to send you transactional or service-related emails despite your desire to not receive promotional or marketing email messages.

9. USE OF WEBSITE OR SERVICES BY CHILDREN

Our Site and our data services are not intended for use by anyone under the age of thirteen (13) years old. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information through our Website or through our data services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information through our Website or data services on or through any of its features or register for the Website or data services, or make any purchases through the Website or for our data services, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or username you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as soon as it is commercially practicable. If you believe we might have any personal information from a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@aidentified.com.

10. DATA SECURITY

Aidentified is committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and security of personal information, and we take commercially reasonable security measures to protect such information. It is our policy to use industry-standard technical, physical, and administrative security safeguards to protect personal information both during transmission and once we receive it against unauthorized access and disclosure.

Consistent with our commitment to maintaining a high level of information security, Aidentified has received a Service Organization Control 2 (“SOC 2”) attestation since 2021. SOC 2 is a cybersecurity compliance framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”). To receive our SOC 2 Type 2 attestation, an independent auditor reviews, tests and attests on an annual basis that our systems, controls, and processes for our prospecting and relationship mapping platform system comply with the security, availability and confidentiality Trust Service Criteria developed by the AICPA. Our SOC 2 attestation provides you with additional assurance that we have the right controls in place to protect your information.

Notwithstanding our security safeguards, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

11. DATA RETENTION

We will retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, as further detailed in our internal data retention policies. We will retain and use your information (including information in our databases) as necessary to conduct our business, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

12. SALE OR TRANSFER OF ASSETS

In the event that Aidentified is purchased, sells parts or all of the business, or merges with another company, the information in Aidentified databases will be considered an asset that can be transferred.  Changes in ownership and/or new uses of your information will be posted on our website, and you may continue to invoke your choices regarding the use of your personal information at any time.

Additional details concerning the collection or processing of personal information may be requested from Aidentified, LLC at any time at privacy@aidentified.com.

14. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

If we make material changes to our data privacy practices, this policy will be updated and posted on our Site and Mobile Application in order to keep you informed of how we collect, use, manage, disclose, and protect information. The policy effective date will be updated accordingly. We strongly recommended checking this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the top of the page.
